The D-Series radio can be tailored to your specific needs. Each D-Series radio can be programmed to display as few as 1 channel or as many as 10 channels. 2-Tone Paging Encode - In systems designed for 2-tone encode paging JMX-144/146/444 D-Series radios can
function as a pager and as a compact 2-way radio. The radio can be programmed to listen for
specific paging tones and alert the user with a distinct ring as well as visual indication via the bright
LED display.

NOAA Weather Scan (VHF models only)—To monitor your local NOAA weather broadcast, select the
NOAA weather frequency for your area.
NOAA Weather Alert (VHF models only) - After selecting the NOAA weather frequency for your
area and turning the Weather Alert feature ON, your radio will automatically look for the
Emergency Alert broadcast tone. When the tone is heard, your radio will immediately revert to the NOAA
Weather Emergency broadcast.
